Review report 33 on the classification of state secrets by the AIVD

A discussion took place in the House of Representatives about whether the General Intelligence and Security Service (AIVD) correctly classifies information as state secret. This debate was partly prompted by the Review Committee’s advisory opinion on a complaint regarding an AIVD investigation into the leaking of state secret information. The Review Committee subsequently conducted an investigation. The corresponding review report was published in 2012.
