Review report 38 on data processing by the AIVD and the MIVD in the area of telecommunication
From June 2013 onwards, Edward Snowden’s revelations about the practices of the American National Security Agency (NSA) appeared in the media. At the request of the House of Representatives, the Review Committee conducted an investigation into the procedure of the General Intelligence and Security Service (AIVD) and the Military Intelligence and Security Service (MIVD) in processing telecommunication data. This includes data collection and analysis and the exchange of data with foreign services. The subsequent review report was published in 2014.
