Who determines the topics for the investigations by the Oversight Department of the CTIVD?

The Oversight Department determines this itself. Parliament, the Minister of Internal Affairs and Kingdom Relations or the Minister of Defence may ask the Oversight Department of the CTIVD to conduct an investigation. The Oversight Department subsequently decides if and how it will respond to this request.
